G2D gymnastic bar features highly desirable 2 stabilizing tie plates that is far off at both ends of the bar rather than an annoying single tie plates at the middle. Gymnast will not step on the tie plate when mount or dismount the bar.
The vertical bases are welded solidly with triangular stabilization plates. We have many customers who are engineers and they evaluated many bars and chose our bar because they can see the sturdy structure of our design.
Extension to the base is possible. We don't sell extension kit; however, we do have instruction of showing DIY on extension. The instruction is also online.
