The backboard is made of blow-molded, high-density polyethylene, with a design that rebounds well while holding up to bricks and bad bounces. The rim is also sturdy, with a 5/8-inch solid steel frame, 1/2-inch steel braces, and a 50-gram net. And should the game get a little too easy or hard, you can adjust the hoop to a more accommodating height. The hoop--which sits a top a two-piece, 3-inch-diameter powder-coated steel pole--adjusts from 4 to 6.5 feet.
